Contemporary handmade glass and 24k gold leaf globe earrings. Inspired by the ornate paintings of Holbein, this range of modern glass jewellery combines the highest quality Italian and German glass with 24k gold leaf and gold fill chain to create light catching, contemporary, minimal jewels.
These transparent light blue glass globe drops are approximately 8mm in diameter and hang from 3cm long gold fill chain, total earring length is approximately 4cm.
A range of 6 opaque or transparent glass colours are available to choose from. Matching items are available in this range including drop earrings and fine chain bracelets.
All glass is handmade by myself and kiln annealed for durability.

Goldfill chain is composed of a solid layer of gold (typically constituting at least 5% of the item's total weight) mechanically bonded to a base of either sterling silver or jewellers brass. It is much higher quality than gold plate and should remain tarnish resistant with normal wear.
